Couldn't agree more, but in terms of beats and music. In fact of you listen to Bigg's lyrics from his famous song "lkhoufe" he sits everything that a Moroccan is afraid of.
if you want something originla than you can check a group from Agadir i don't know remember the group's name, but they sing in chal7a:) funny because i don't understand what they saying. on other note Fnair has a really good song which is called " mat9iche bladi" which is a tribute to may 16th 2003 bombing in Casa. The beats are original mixed btw Moroccan/Marrakshi and hip hop.
Well i'm still hookep on hoba hoba spirits i think they great. Yes they music is rock and pop but thier lyrics are so cool:). I'm planning to attend thier concert in March 17th in Casa. And if i can i will have some footage of that concert for all raiooers. if of course Adnane wants to post them:P

I personally think big alkhasser, casa crew and h-kayen are not bringing anything positive, creative or artistic to Morocco. For me they are copycats of the US rap scene in every way. Clothes, haircuts, beats and melodies. I am pretty sure deep inside they feel very FAKE. It really pisses me off that an aspiring artist would allow himself/herself to be fake like that! CC and 3awd lil are much better alternatives! Just my opinion.

Sticking to the topic, I have to say rap has been always a major outlet for people's opinion. Let's take the african americans for instance, although their voice was first heard because of men like Martin Luther King and MalcomX, dont you think they gained more respect appearance of hiphop, now other races are looking upto them and even trying to immitate.
I think rap could do a lot in morocco, I havent heard something professional before CC. More than that, the song biladi telling what a beautifull country morocco is, is actually presenting it to lot of people who have wrong idea about or even have none. Criticising is a healthy thing but let's not do that now, just be suportive, give rappers a pulse and later on they'll criticise each other.. after all they know how to do it in a better way dont you think :))

tout ce qu'il a utilis? pour faire ses morceaux c'est un petit micro et son ordinateur. il a fait ca dans sa chambre d'etudiant tranquilement pour s'amuser avec ses amis et jamais il n'aurait imagin? que ca aurait l'impact que ca a eu. faire de la musique n'est pas sa profesion, c'est juste un passe temps alors que Casablanca Connect est chanteur de metier. 3awd lile n'a pas enregistr? ses chanson dans un but commercial, il n'a ni label ni producteur....c'est grace a internet que sa musique a ete diffus? et il n'a jamais touch? un centime pour ses chanson.
ceci dit, une chose est sure, 3awD lile a baucoup de talent. c'est vrai que le choix de ses textes avait cree des polemiques mais on a qu'a regarder le phenomene de societe que sont devenu ses chansons au Maroc (tout les jeunes les connaissent) pour comprendre que le publique marocain demande et aime ce genre de produit. le language utilis? est peut etre vulgaire mais c'est celui des jeunes marocains avant tout et la plus part d entre eux s'y reconnaissent et le pratiquent.
Alors s'il vous plait arreter de faire le proc? de ce garcon, car ce qu'il a fait reste avant tout tres remarquable.

When he made Biladi, though he sings it in half english half Moroccan he exhibits culture awareness. He included ZERO illicit lyrics, and made a hit you can listen to with familly members. We should give him credit for his awareness and respect of the Moroccan familly. The technique, voice etc are other criteria that can be argued when comparing his stuff to 3awd lil. 3awd lil has great techniques, good voice and a nice flow as well. So for me, technique, voice and flow, CC and 3awd lil are almost equal, however CC is winning in terms of giving the Moroccans something to listen to in familly. That's why he got my attention and that's why I wanted to share it with all the raioosters in da house. Bling bling!

I noticed the song is cheerful for the most part, and focuses on the good things about Morocco, nostalgic things, yet sometimes he would drop in a negative, like makayen mayaddar etc which disconnects the listener for a while - only if you haven't a clue what he's saying in the first place and you're just listening to the music. This song reminds of me of tonton de bled de 113.. in the same spirit of the bled!

i think the clip is good, and it can even be better if he takes care of the middle part, when he talks about the passport, the cities, the sea, and the juice, and the job problem. i think he can either stick with the good side or negative, otherwise finding new mix of words. it may give a better chemistry.
